Fire Investigations

The team of Fire Investigators at Preferred Investigations, LCC, are highly trained professionals who are available to assist with your fire scene in several ways. Investigations can be tailored to the needs of the client based on the severity of the fire and/or the situation surrounding the incident.

Investigators undergo extensive training and education in the areas of fire dynamics, fire pattern recognition, fire origin and cause determination, fire scene processing, evidence collection, and interviewing/interrogating techniques. Ongoing education and training keeps investigators aware of new findings and scientific discoveries in the fields of fire safety, prevention, and investigations.

Our investigators conduct an interior and exterior examination of each property, interview the appropriate parties involved, as well as conduct a neighborhood canvass. A full-scene report is completed for each fire along with structure sketches, scene photographs, and a summary of taped interviews of involved parties. Taped interviews are available in typed form upon request.

Investigators are able to assist insurance companies as well as attorneys with subrogation issues. All investigators have experience and/or education in witness deposition and testimony.

When completed, Preferred Investigations, LCC. reports are clear, concise, professionally written and are court-ready to assist in the prevention of insurance fraud and the criminal activity of arson.
