Jim Foley

Senior Investigator assigned to the Investigation Division of Preferred Investigations, LLC., James’s work area includes the complete State of Michigan. He is assigned to our Saginaw office.

Experience:
James retired from the Saginaw Township Police Department after 30 years. James spent his last 13 years there assigned to and in charge of the Saginaw County Auto Theft Team where he conducted over 3000 investigations of vehicle theft and fraud. James is a court-recognized expert in both district and circuit courts and in depositions in the area of vehicle theft investigations and steering column analysis. James is also considered to be an expert in the area of interviewing and interrogations.

Education:
James attended Delta College and received his associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. Throughout his career, James attended a vast number of training courses in the area of theft and fraud investigations including the Reid school of Interviewing and Interrogations. James also is an instructor for the Northeastern Police Academy at Delta College.
