Rex Lewis, CFEI

Certified Fire Investigator assigned to the Investigation Division of Preferred Investigations, LLC., Rex’s work area includes the complete State of Michigan. He is assigned to our Saginaw office.

Experience:
Rex has been working for Preferred Investigations, LLC since 2009. Prior to joining the company, Rex worked as an investigator and inspector for the City of Adrian Fire Department and worked for over twenty-five years as a professional fire fighter. Rex has had extensive training in fire science, fire suppression, hazardous materials and emergency medical response as well as being a certified instructor with courses taught in fire suppression techniques, fire science, salvage and overhaul, fire scene preservation and hazardous materials.

Education:
Rex received an associate’s degree in Fire Protection from Washtenaw Community College in 1996. . He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator and a NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. Rex attended a vast number of training courses including the Michigan State Police Basic and Advanced investigation schools and the Reid school of Interviewing and Interrogations.
